Customary Donations

A donation is a free-will offering made to a provider of FBST, Tantra, Companion work and Sacred Intimate Work.

A donation is a way of allowing your provider to meet her financial obligations and remain able to keep her time free to help and share time with her patrons, without having to maintain another career which would compete for her time and energy.

This career is based on giving of oneself and that means a delicate balance of time, self care, time for her sessions, money to meet her needs etc. This career has a high burn-out factor and the providers who do well and stay in the field, continuing to provide quality work, limit the amount of sessions they can offer per week.

A healer also accepts a certain degree of risk due to the way our society categories things, as well as risk to her personal health. Please understand what the provider is risking to offer you this personal service.

Please do not insult your healer by comparing her donation schedule to that of other providers. We all come to this field with various educations, skills, talents, and personalities. There is no way to compare between providers. If you are not happy with a service, or think it is out of your range, simply find another provider that you click with better.

This is a very individual field and nobody provides exactly the same service. Comparing providers is like saying a car is just a car when you are looking at a Mustang vs. a Jaguar.

A suggested donation is a donation that the healer has determined will keep her afloat, it is representative of the quality of work she provides and is sometimes based around what other similar providers accept.

A customary donation is the amount which this provider usually receives for these services.

Donations are highly personal things and it is strongly recommended that you accept the amounts without attempting to negotiate them downward. Please understand that each provider has different obligations in her personal life which are not negotiable. Requesting that a provider discount is similar to you going to work and your boss wanting to drop your pay for the work you provide.

Many healers will not work with patrons who attempt to negotiate the compensations, because few people want to work with those who do not value their services. Asking a healer to accept less does not add to the feeling of gratitude and respect for her work. Also, many times persons who ask the healer to discount her compensations attempt to control the situation in other ways or are less than respectful in person.

Most healers extend special offering to their existing clients as time and finances allow. Most healers will understand the needs of existing patrons who have special circumstances. Many healers provide a certain amount of sliding donation scale or pro bono work for circumstances that they have a special calling for. It is recommended that you wait for the healer to extend these offers, not request them.

Thank you.
